Terms of service

These terms govern the use of the TourneyChamps app and its related service, provided by Giuliano Picilli ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. The Italian version is the reference text.
1. The service
TourneyChamps helps groups of friends organise amateur games and tournaments: it builds balanced teams from player data and manages game days, results, line-up proposals and votes. Suggested teams are an automatic proposal: we do not guarantee any particular outcome of the games.
2. Account
- Using TourneyChamps requires an account, created with a verified email or with Google.
- TourneyChamps is only for people aged 14 or over: by registering you declare that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 14, we delete it.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. One email corresponds to one account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post names, photos or content that are offensive, unlawful or infringe the rights of others;
- upload photos of other people without their consent;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, bypass service limits or disrupt its operation;
- use the service for spam or unauthorised commercial purposes.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
The names, photos, ratings and results you enter remain yours. You allow us to store them and show them to the other participants of your tournaments, only to run the service. Tournament admins can edit participants' data and ratings within that tournament.
You are responsible for the photos you upload, that is your profile photo and the winning team photo. You must have the right to use them and the consent of the people shown. Whoever uploads a photo that infringes the rights of others is responsible for the consequences. We do not check photos before they are shown: only the participants of the tournaments they appear in can see them.
Any participant can report the winning team photo from the app: the photo is deleted at once for everyone and the tournament admins receive the reason, without the name of the person who reported it. Profile photos and other content can be reported from the app or by writing to support@tourneychamps.it: we review them and, if they break these terms or the law, we remove them and explain the reason to whoever uploaded them. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly upload illegal content.
5. Plans and paid features
TourneyChamps is free. Some additional features may require a paid plan (for example Premium): price, duration and conditions will be shown in the app before any purchase.
6. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it is always available or error-free. We may update the app, change or discontinue features, including by requiring an update to a newer version.
7. Liability
TourneyChamps is an organisation tool: games are played under the responsibility of those who take part. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from sports activities organised through the app or from content entered by other users. The rights granted by law to consumers are not affected.
8. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we notify you in the app. If you keep using TourneyChamps after the notice, you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.
